Labcorp Holdings Inc. has entered into a collaboration with Praia Health and Providence, one of the nation's largest health systems, to enhance patient engagement and lab order adherence. By integrating Labcorp's API and scheduling workflow into Praia Health's patient experience platform, Providence patients can now seamlessly book lab appointments, pay bills, access health records, and manage their care in one place. The partnership has resulted in an 8-fold increase in scheduled appointments, a 52% rise in lab appointment bookings via digital notifications, and improved operational efficiency. The collaborators are exploring future expansions into areas such as genomics, chronic care management, at-home lab collection kits, and clinical trial recruitment.
