VMS TMT (NSE:VMSTMT, BOM:544521) said it received cumulative orders exceeding 10,000 metric tons from its distributor network during the Diwali period, according to a Monday filing on Indian bourses.

The Thermo-Mechanically Treated (TMT) steel bars manufacturer said the orders came through its established network of distributors and dealers across Gujarat.

It operates an integrated steel manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad with a TMT bar capacity of 2,00,000 MT and billet capacity of 2,16,000 MT per annum, the filing said.

VMS TMT has 3 distributors and 227 dealers under a retail license agreement with Kamdhenu, which allows it to market TMT bars under the Kamdhenu brand across Gujarat, it added.
