Encompass Health Corporation has expanded its presence in Florida with the opening of its 25th location in the state, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of St. Petersburg. The new 57,000-square-foot facility offers specialized rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. The hospital features 50 private patient rooms, advanced therapy technologies, an in-house dialysis suite, and other patient-centered amenities. This marks the company's fourth new Florida location this year, with plans to open another hospital in Lake Worth by the end of the year.
