The tech company has begun applying for insurance licenses in the city and recruiting insurance consultants and related professionals across multiple job platforms, signaling plans to establish an insurance team, the report said.
Job postings reportedly indicate that candidates are required to hold valid local insurance licenses and have substantial experience in Hong Kong's insurance sector.
JD.com is also hiring for positions in asset management and fund operations, the report added.
