Gateway Mining (ASX:GML) said results from the extensional soil grid mapped an 11.5-kilometer gold-in-soil anomaly along the Great Western Shear corridor at the Yandal gold project in Western Australia, with a peak soil result of 500 parts per billion grade of gold, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm is planning to dig two stratigraphic holes as part of the current diamond drilling program, designed to deliver details on geological information which will be used for reverse circulation drilling, the filing said.
Gateway Mining's shares rose past 1% in recent trading on Wednesday and earlier hit a 52-week high.
