CMC Magnetics (TPE:2323) sold 1.8 million shares of Dynapack International Technology (TWO:3211) for NT$601.8 million, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.

Shares slid over 1% in Thursday's midday trade.

The shares were sold between Oct. 16 and Oct. 22 at an average price of NT$334.34 each.

The transaction resulted in a loss of NT$6.1 million, the company said.

Following the disposal, CMC Magnetics holds 2.46 million Dynapack shares, representing about 1.6% of the company.

The sale was made for portfolio management purposes.
