Barton Gold Holdings Ltd. has commenced geotechnical drilling at its Central Gawler Mill as part of a Definitive Feasibility Study $(DFS)$ for Stage 1 production at the Challenger Gold Project in South Australia. The program includes sonic drilling, cone penetration testing, and push tube density testing to recover and analyze tailings materials. Results will inform detailed mine design, scheduling, equipment selection, and operating costs for tailings recovery. Following a recent $15 million placement, Barton is well funded with approximately $20 million in cash, as it advances plans to restart operations and aims to become South Australia's largest independent gold producer.
