Polaris Holdings (TYO:3010) said September occupancy at its 66 domestic hotels rose to 91.4% from 87.3% a year earlier, while revenue per available room climbed 15.5% to 11,222 yen, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Average daily rate increased 10.4% to 12,282 yen, and the share of foreign guests rose 4.8 points to 46.4%. The Kinki region posted the strongest growth, with RevPAR surging 49% from a year earlier ahead of Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai.
Inbound travel to Japan hit a record in September at 3.3 million visitors, up 13.7% year-on-year, helping Polaris lift revenue across all regions.
