Ambipar Emergency Response Falls to 52-Week Low, Resumes Trading After Bankruptcy

Ambipar Emergency Response shares declined 33% to 75 cents on Thursday, resuming trading after being halted since Tuesday following the company's bankruptcy filing.

Intraday prices ranged from 48 cents, which marked a 52-week low, to 95 cents.

Ambipar filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in Texas on Monday, while parent company Ambipar Participações e Empreendimentos filed for insolvency protection in Brazil. The company said Tuesday morning that normal operations are continuing.

Ambipar Emergency Response provides services including crisis management and responding to environmental, chemical and biological emergencies.

NYSE American said Tuesday that it would commence delisting proceedings. The company has the right to appeal.
