Vector (NZE:VCT) reported 634,269 electricity network connections for the three months ended Sept. 30, up 1.2% on September 2024, with 2.460 gigawatt-hour electricity volume distributed in the period, up 1.3% on September 2024, according to a Tuesday New Zealand bourse filing.
New connections for the period are 7% lower than in the same quarter of 2024, the filing added.
The company added that there has been a 0.1% decrease in total connections on Auckland's gas distribution network over the year to 30 Sept. 30. New gas connections were down 47.2% on the same period last year.
