CMOC Group (HKG:3993, SHA:603993) said Sun Ruiwen resigned as the company's president, while Kenny Ives stepped down as chief commercial officer, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.
Shares of the Chinese copper and cobalt manufacturer gained over 3% in Hong Kong late-morning trade Monday.
Sun and Ives confirmed they had no disagreement with the company's board, CMOC said.
The firm said it planned to appoint Peng Xuhui as president and chief executive, and Branko Buhavac as chief commercial officer.
Peng was also nominated to the company's board as executive director.
