Cognex Raises Quarterly Dividend 6% to 8.5 Cents

Cognex raised its quarterly cash dividend 6% to 8.5 cents a share.

The new dividend, which is up half a cent from 8 cents, will be paid on Nov. 28 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 13, the industrial machine vision provider said Wednesday.

The new payout, equal to 34 cents a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.7% based on Wednesday's closing price of $47.44.
