RareX Limited has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with U.S. Strategic Metals (USSM), a critical minerals company based in Missouri, USA. The partnership aims to strengthen critical mineral processing and supply chain development between Australia and the United States. Under the agreement, RareX will supply products from its Cummins Range project in Western Australia-including heavy rare earth elements such as dysprosium and terbium, as well as gallium and scandium-to be assessed for processing at USSM's permitted multi-metallic hub in Missouri. The collaboration is aligned with broader U.S.-Australia critical minerals cooperation frameworks and will focus on strategic funding, technology development, and building secure, Western-aligned supply chains.
