0928 ET - Gildan Activewear's CEO sees opportunities to grow some of its categories amid tariff uncertainty. Glenn Chamandy tells analysts on a call that one example is polyester products, which have been hardest hit by tariffs and duties, where he says that one of its facilities could take on more of that demand. He notes that the polyester category isn't very big for the company, but he thinks that's something to capitalize on. "It still has to come to fruition as we come into the future but I think we're well positioned with our manufacturing footprint to take advantage of the opportunity," Chamandy says.
