Elevate Uranium (ASX:EL8) completed the design, construction, and final factory testing of the U-pgrade pilot plant in Western Australia during the September quarter, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The plant is scheduled to arrive in Namibia in early November and be commissioned by the end of November. It is designed to confirm, at a scalable size and operating on a continuous basis, that the U-pgrade process can remove gangue waste material and concentrate uranium mineral into a low-mass, high-grade concentrate before leaching.
Once operational, the plant will be used to process a minimum of 60 tonnes of uranium material.
