Shares of Karoon Energy (ASX:KAR) fell over 2% in recent trading on Tuesday, while those of Woodside Energy Group (ASX:WDS) declined 0.8%, and those of Santos (ASX:STO) and Beach Energy (ASX:BPT) fell 0.5% after oil fell.
Brent crude futures fell 0.2% to $64.74 per barrel on Tuesday. The decision by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries Plus to pause output hikes in the March 2026 quarter was being seen as a signal of oversupply in the market, Reuters reported.
