Air Lease Corporation reported net income attributable to common stockholders of $135.0 million, or $1.21 per diluted share, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025, up from $92.0 million, or $0.82 per diluted share, in the same period of 2024. The increase was primarily driven by higher rental revenues and a $60.0 million net benefit from the settlement of insurance claims related to aircraft detained in Russia, partially offset by lower sales activity and higher selling, general and administrative expenses, including approximately $9.0 million in merger-related costs, as well as higher interest expense. Adjusted net income before income taxes was $145.0 million, or $1.29 per adjusted diluted share, compared to $140.0 million, or $1.25 per adjusted diluted share, in the prior year period. During the quarter, Air Lease entered into an agreement to be acquired by Sumisho Air Lease Corporation Designated Activity Company, with the transaction valued at approximately $7.4 billion in cash, or $28.2 billion including debt obligations to be assumed or refinanced net of cash.
