Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) launched non-stop flights between Christchurch and Rarotonga from May to October 2026, operating up to three times a week, the airline said in a statement released Monday.

Flights will leave Christchurch at 3:40 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and take off from Rarotonga at 11:30 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Bookings will be available from Nov. 5, the airline said.

Air New Zealand shares rose nearly 1% in morning trade on the Australian bourse.
