Macau Property Opportunities Fund Ltd. has announced its annual results for the year ended 30 June 2025. The fund reported divestment of 18 assets at The Waterside and The Fountainside, generating US$36.2 million (HK$282.6 million) in sales proceeds between July 2024 and October 2025. Debt was significantly reduced by US$22.8 million during the financial year, from US$82.8 million to US$60.0 million, with a further US$13.5 million reduction achieved by 30 October 2025. The portfolio value declined by 16% over the year to US$101.5 million. The company continues efforts to divest its flagship asset, Penha Heights, and has extended its loan with BCM Bank to January 2026. Despite a welcome reduction in debt, falling property valuations have impacted the fund's adjusted net asset value and loan-to-value ratios, with ongoing asset sales being crucial for the company's viability.
