Vertical Aerospace Ltd. announced its third quarter 2025 business and strategy update, highlighting significant progress in its transition flight testing for the VX4 aircraft. The company is set to imminently enter the piloted transition flight test phase, with full transition flights expected before the end of the year. Vertical has demonstrated all piloted flight phases under the UK/European Permit to Fly regime, meeting all 200 CAA Minimum Safe Aircraft requirements. Financially, expected net cash outflows from operating activities over the next 12 months are projected at approximately £175 million ($235 million), primarily allocated to prototype testing and development of the certification aircraft. Vertical also unveiled first images of its certification aircraft's cabin, touted as the largest in its class for passenger comfort and operator flexibility. The company reaffirmed its industry-leading capital efficiency and stated it has the clearest path to profitability among eVTOL manufacturers.
