Shares of Lynas Rare Earths (ASX:LYC) and Iluka Resources (ASX:ILU) rose over 3%, while those of Arafura Rare Earths (ASX:ARU) climbed 2% in recent trading on Friday as the build-out of rare earth projects outside of China continues.

The issues between the US and China have not been resolved, and the build-out remains the start of the governmental response from the US and the West, the Australian Financial Review reported, citing UBS mining analyst Dim Ariyasinghe.
