China's Commerce Ministry lifted the export ban on U.S.-based DNA sequencing company Illumina effective Nov. 10, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
The ban has been in place since March 4, according to Illumina.
Despite the lifting of the ban, the company will stay on China's Unreliable Entity List, which requires them to seek government clearance for equipment and instrument purchases, Illumina said.
The development will not affect Illumina's bottom line for fiscal 2025.
