Novo Resources Corp. has provided an update on its exploration programs across its New South Wales project portfolio, with a focus on the Tibooburra Gold Project. Recent activities at Tibooburra included mapping, surface sampling, re-logging of historic diamond core, and a down-hole geophysical wireline survey. Notable new results from rock chip sampling include a high-grade assay of 39.9 g/t gold at Pioneer North and several results above 1 g/t gold at Pioneer South, with peak values of 19.8 g/t, 8.12 g/t, and 5.83 g/t from quartz reefs and historic workings. The company is in the final stages of planning further drilling to test the extension of the Clone and Pioneer South prospects and is awaiting additional assay results from new Bendigo and Warratta Reefs. Novo highlights that mineralisation at Tibooburra shows similarities to major Victorian-style gold deposits such as Fosterville and Bendigo.
