SK Hynix (KRX:000660) secured carbon-reducing and carbon footprint certifications from the UK's Carbon Trust for 15 memory products, including HBM, DRAM, and NAND devices, the chipmaker said in a Wednesday release.

The company's four HBM products and seven DRAM models were recognized for verified carbon reduction, while four NAND and storage products earned carbon footprint certification, according to the release.

The four HBM products to earn the certifications were 16GB HBM2E 8-layer, 16GB HBM3 8-layer, 24GB HBM3E 8-layer, and 36GB HBM3E 12-layer. The seven DRAM products comprised two LPDDR5 products, two GDDR6 products, and three DDR5 DIMMs.
