Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) said infill and step-back diamond drilling at the Boundiali gold project in Ivory Coast confirmed multiple high-grade gold intercepts, and gold mineralization remains open along strike and at depth, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 18 meters at 3.9 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 198 meters, as well as 28 meters at 1.5 g/t grade of gold from 82 meters.
Two new drill rigs have been added to Aurum's owned fleet, expanding the number of rigs to 12, the filing said.
Aurum Resources' shares fell roughly 2% in recent trading on Friday.
