American Airlines Group (AAL) is cutting hundreds of corporate jobs following its Q3 loss, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
The layoffs are affecting mid-management and support roles in finance, technology, commercial, and communications, primarily at the carrier's Fort Worth, Texas, headquarters, the report said.
Shares were down by nearly 3% in recent Tuesday trading.
American Airlines Group did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
