** Miners Southern Copper SCCO.N up 2.8% and Freeport-McMoRan FCX.N up 2.3%
** Canadian miners Hudbay Minerals HBM.TO and Ero Copper ERO.TO each up 4.5% and Teck Resources TECKb.TO gains 1%
