The PNC Financial Services Group Inc. has announced plans to open more than 300 new branches across the United States by 2030, increasing its original expansion target by 100 locations. The initiative, representing a $2 billion investment, will extend PNC's presence into nearly 20 new markets, including Nashville, Chicago, Sarasota, and Winston-Salem. As part of its Southeast market expansion, PNC intends to add approximately 35 branches in Nashville and 40 more across cities such as Fort Myers, Lakeland, Asheville, and Wilmington, N.C. The bank also plans to renovate its entire branch network by 2029 and hire over 2,000 new employees to support the expansion.
