GigaCloud Technology shares rallied after the company shared an outlook ahead of Wall Street expectations.
The stock gained 24% to $31.56 on Friday. Shares are up 71% this year.
GigaCloud, which helps e-commerce companies with the logistics of shipping large items, reported earnings after the close on Thursday and said it expects fourth-quarter sales to be $328 million to $344 million. Analysts were projecting sales of $307.5 million, according to FactSet.
The outlook came after third-quarter sales increased 10% to $332.6 million, also beating estimates of $301 million.
Active sellers and buyers both increased in the quarter.
Gross merchandise volume from third-party sellers in GigaCloud's marketplace has increased 24% over the past 12 months, and now makes up more than half of total marketplace volume. Active buyers have increased 34% in the past 12 months.
