Galecto (GLTO) shares soared 229% after the company said Monday it completed the acquisition of Damora Therapeutics.

Movano (MOVE) agreed to merge with artificial intelligence cloud computing company Corvex in an all-stock deal that will take Corvex public and create a secure AI infrastructure platform, the companies said Monday.

Cogent Biosciences (COGT) said Monday that a phase 3 trial evaluating a combination of bezuclastinib and sunitinib in people with imatinib-resistant or intolerant gastrointestinal stromal tumors, or GIST, showed higher progression-free survival and objective response rates compared with sunitinib monotherapy.

Shares surged 135% as intraday trading volume advanced to almost 17.3 million from a daily average of about 1.99 million.
