Wall Street's main indexes gained on Wednesday, with the Dow at a record high, as investors cheered a likely end to the longest U.S. government shutdown and as an upbeat earnings outlook from Advanced Micro Devices revived optimism around AI. .N

At 1030 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.85% at 48,333.58. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.07% at 6,851.38, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.25% at 23,409.18.
