Butterfly Network Inc. has expanded its collaboration with Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCU-COM) following the successful outcomes of a point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) elective program. Building on this partnership, KCU-COM will now provide every incoming student with a personal Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound device and integrate the ScanLab™ AI-powered training application across its four-year curriculum. This initiative aims to enhance medical education by equipping students with hands-on ultrasound training and real-time feedback, while also increasing faculty efficiency. The collaboration has already demonstrated strong results, including high student engagement and significant time savings for faculty.
