1124 ET - Rivian has made significant process in mitigating tariff costs, but the stock will likely be dragged down by investors waiting for clarity on a series of other unknowns, say Davidson analysts Michael Shlisky and Linda Umwali. "The stock will likely remain rangebound until the R2 launches (and successfully); the VW partnership begins to bear more fruit; the consumer environment improves; and the company gets a firmer handle on gross margins and reduced EBITDA losses," the analysts say. All of this is very achievable but for now, a lack of visibility into the upcoming risks and opportunities will keep the market in wait-and-see mode.(nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
