Margins improve due to lower-than-expected freight costs, improved buying and lower interest costs, they write. Orders in the 19 weeks ended Nov. 9 grew compared with the same period a year prior. A continuing focus on innovation, data and technology-enhancing product development is clearly delivering benefits, they write.
