0752 GMT - Indonesia's latest robust retail indicators signal domestic resilience despite persistent rupiah depreciation and rising global uncertainty, UOB economists write in a research note. Indonesia's retail sector has remained solid in October despite external headwinds, they note. The Consumer Confidence Index rebounded to 121.2 in October from 115.0 in September, while the Retail Sales Index rose 4.33% on year. These indicators also suggest continued consumer optimism and reflect the likely impact of recent expansionary fiscal policies aimed at supporting the domestic economy, UOB says.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
