Hour Glass' Attributable Profit Climbs 23% in Fiscal H1

The Hour Glass' (SGX:AGS) attributable profit to owners in the fiscal half year ended Sept. 30 jumped 23% to SG$75.7 million from SG$61.4 million a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Earnings per share rose to SG$0.117 compared with SG$0.0946 in the comparable period.

Revenue, rose 14% year over year to SG$615.4 million from SG$540.3 million.

The company declared an interim dividend of SG$0.02 per share for the period, unchanged from a year earlier.

The dividend will be paid on Dec. 8.

Shares of the company were down nearly 2% at the close of trading on Friday.
