Barrick Mining's (B) Canadian board is weighing a breakup that would separate its North American operations from its African and Asian assets, Reuters reported on Friday, citing four sources.
The company is also considering selling its African portfolio and Pakistan's Reko Diq project once financing is secured, according to the report.
Shares of Barrick Mining were up 2.87% in recent Friday trading.
Barrick Mining did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
