GS Holdings (KRX:078930) subsidiary GS Caltex finished building the AGPA Refinery Complex in Indonesia's Balikpapan, Yonhap News reported Thursday.
The 260 billion won joint venture with Posco International (KRX:047050) spans 300,000 square meters and can refine 500,000 tons of biodiesel feedstock and edible oil on an annual basis.
Posco International will supply palm oil from its Indonesian plantations and handle distribution across Indonesia, South Korea, and China, the report said.
Shares of GS Holdings and Posco International rose nearly 3% in Thursday morning trade.
