CPI Aerostructures Inc. has announced that Raytheon, an RTX business, has authorized the company to begin manufacturing Pods and Air Management Systems $(AMS)$ for the Lot 5 Production phase of the Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) program. The production order is valued at up to $42.3 million, with initial funding set at $21.1 million. Deliveries under this contract are scheduled to begin in 2027. The NGJ-MB system, developed by Raytheon for the U.S. Navy, will augment and eventually replace the ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System on the EA-18G Growler aircraft. CPI Aerostructures is supplying the Pod structure and associated AMS components for this program.
