Canada's annual inflation rate falls to 2.2% in October

OTTAWA, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Canada's annual inflation rate fell to 2.2% in October, as gasoline prices fell faster than the previous month and food prices acceleration moderated slightly, Statistics Canada said on Monday.
Analysts had expected the annual inflation rate to fall to 2.1% from 2.4% in August.

NOTE: Analysts in a Reuters survey had forecast October CPI to rise to 2.1% annualized, and to be up 0.2% on the month.
