Felix Gold (ASX:FXG) said independent automated mineral analysis within the Treasure Creek antimony project in Alaska confirmed that the flotation concentrate consists of 95% antimony-bearing minerals and 5% gangue, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The test work showed the ore is unusually clean, with little waste and no harmful minerals, and confirms it can be processed using several different methods, the filing said.
The company will now proceed with a metallurgical development program, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose 7% in recent Wednesday trade.
