Colony Bankcorp, Inc., the holding company for Colony Bank, and TC Bancshares, Inc., the holding company for TC Federal Bank, have received both regulatory and shareholder approvals for their planned combination. The transaction, initially announced on July 23, 2025, is expected to close on or about December 1, 2025, pending customary closing conditions. The combined company will have approximately $3.8 billion in total assets, $3.1 billion in deposits, and $2.4 billion in loans, strengthening its presence as one of the leading community banks in the Southeast. After closing, customers of both banks will continue to use their current branches and digital platforms until the full systems conversion is completed, with detailed information to be provided in advance of any changes.
