Baidu (HKG:9888) incurred an attributable loss of 11.2 billion yuan for the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with an attributable profit of 7.63 billion yuan a year prior, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Loss per share stood at 4.23 yuan in the quarter, whereas the Chinese search engine operator had seen earnings per share of 2.70 yuan in the corresponding period of the last year.
Revenue for the quarter slipped 7% to 31.2 billion yuan from 33.6 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
