Bendigo and Adelaide Bank (ASX:BEN) secured a multi-year agreement with Google Cloud to advance its 2030 strategy, the bank said in a statement on Monday.
The partnership will allow the bank to integrate Google Cloud's artificial intelligence, security, and training services into its operations for faster processing of lending and refinancing applications, the ability to flag high-risk transactions to combat financial crime, and the use of generative AI to analyze bank data and uncover product-market gaps.
The partnership will also see the bank migrate its operations to Google Security Operations and Google Security Command Centre, deploy Code Assist to help its developers, and leverage Google Cloud's Anti Money Laundering AI, according to the statement.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank shares rose 1% in midday trade Monday.
