Bank of Nanjing (SHA:601009) plans to redeem preferred shares worth 4.90 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Saturday.

The lender's shares rose less than 1% during Monday's midday trade.

The preferred shares were issued through a non-public offering in 2015.
