Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Monday, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) 0.2% lower and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) up 0.9%.
Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) stock was up more than 4% after the company said in a WeChat blog post that its Qianwen app had more than 10 million downloads within a week of its public rollout of the beta version.
