The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore awarded three licenses to supply methanol as marine fuel to three companies from 13 applications, according to an agency release on Monday.

The licenses were granted to Global Energy Trading, Golden Island, and PetroChina International, who will begin operations from Jan. 1, 2026 at the Port of Singapore.

The licenses have a five-year validity period but are subject to relevant licensing conditions.
