United States Antimony Corporation $(USAC)$, a leading producer of antimony and other critical minerals, has announced significant progress in its Montana antimony mining operations. The company has begun mining stibnite from Stibnite Hill, adjacent to its existing smelter, and is utilizing this project as a "proof of concept" for future mining activities at its Alaskan properties. In less than 45 days, USAC has moved approximately 800 tons of material for processing-nearly matching the total antimony feedstock processed in the first nine months of the fiscal year. The processed material is anticipated to meet military specifications for antimony trisulfide, a key component in military primers. USAC is currently the only North American supplier approved by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency for this critical product.
