Technology stocks were rising premarket Friday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) 0.4% higher and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) up 2.9%.

Oracle (ORCL) and data center builder Vantage are in talks with a group of banks for another $38 billion loan to finance further Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI sites, the Financial Times reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter. Oracle shares were down 3% pre-bell.
