Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) said an underground diamond drill rig was mobilized to the Lincoln gold project and drilling will begin on the night shift on Friday, according to a same-day Australian bourse filing.

The objective of the drilling program is to convert the existing historical resource at Lincoln-Comet to a mineral resource estimate. It is planned to consist of around 2,600 meters over 25 holes.

Its shares jumped 10% in recent trading on Friday.
